EDITING OF POETRY & PROSE
Whether you’re looking for basic proofreading to check your grammar and usage, or a more comprehensive look at your writing, I’ve got decades of experience working with a vast variety of text. I’ve been a writer of poetry and prose for over forty years, taught undergraduate and graduate-level writing and literature courses for eight years, have done freelance naming and verbal branding work for over twelve years (see www.lorangerNAMES.com), have done writing and website copy for various businesses, and have worked with literally hundreds of people on their writing. This offering includes a free consultation and estimate, focused work to the extent agreed, documentation of all edits, suggestions, and corrections, and a capstone conversation to review the work done either in person or via voice or video call.

PUBLICITY FOR EVENTS & SERIES
I’ve done publicity of various sorts for over 150 literary, music, and performance events over the past thirty years, and would be happy to help you with yours. Whether you have a single event or a series, I can work with you to produce and send press releases, post online listings, Facebook event invites and email blasts (to your contacts), and make eye-catching flyers and imagery. I can also help you to organize your contacts and hone your approaches to your own publicity, to make it more efficient to do on your own.
If you’d like to hear what I can do for your event, contact me at least 45 days before the event (even earlier is better), in order to have time to develop and produce publicity that will work for you. I also provide questionnaires to learn from audiences what brought them to your event, and can help you to organize sign-up sheets to broaden your contacts.

I’m known nationally for my performance of poetry, spoken word, and other verbal media, with over 500 featured readings and performances in over fifty cities around the U.S. over the past forty years. WRITING WORKSHOPS FOR INDIVIDUALS & GROUPS
Besides helming dozens of creative writing workshops and workshops involving various aspects of writing, I’ve taught creative writing of all genres at Pratt Institute of Art & Design and Rutgers University. I’d be happy to design a single or a series of writing workshops for individuals and groups. Generally it’s less expensive for a group. Approaches and genres can be tailored to your interests and levels.
